McGee Auto Service and Tires: Then and Now
On August 10, 1974, McGee Auto Service and Tires' founder, John McGee, opened his first two "O.K. Tire Store" outlets. John McGee managed these stores with quality tire service and great customer service in mind. This business approach helped him become very successful. John McGee focused on being one of the best in the tire business and he soon reached his goal.
However, John McGee wanted to move beyond the humble beginning of two tire store outlets. He began to look for a way to expand his business and make it something more than what it had been. As John McGee continued to operate his successful businesses, his business expansion ideas became a reality in 1979 when he became an authorized Goodyear Dealer.
Over time, John McGee and his son Mike McGee grew their Florida tire business from a handful of tire and auto service shops, to 20 full service locations. As the McGee family business kept booming, Mike McGee took the time to learn all about the retail tire and auto service industry. When the time was right, Mike McGee became the President of McGee Auto Service and Tires.

McGee Auto Service and Tires grew from our humble beginnings of selling new and retread tires to providing a full spectrum of auto repairs. But auto repair and tire service are not the only things that set McGee Auto Service and Tire apart from our competitors.
